Partnership Highlights

The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht

The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht provides
funding to Kinia’s Irish language programmes. This funding is to help young Irish language students develop digital creativity and technology skills. This support aligns with the goals of the Digital Plan for the Irish Language, helping ensure the next generation of Irish speakers are equipped with the digital skills needed to participate fully in an increasingly digital world.

NTT Data

NTT DATA is a global business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100. It is committed to positively impacting society through responsible innovation, including through work with charities and social enterprises. As a valued partner of Kinia, NTT DATA has generously dedicated staff time and expertise to the development of both our internal and external systems, and played a pivotal role in supporting us with launching our social enterprise products and pop-up shops

“NTT DATA is proud to stand with Kinia, as they empower the next generation of changemakers through creativity, technology, and education.”

Sonalake

Sonalake, an Irish software company, believes in making a social contribution by supporting the effective use of technology in education. A long time supporter of Kinia, Sonalake has provided unrestricted funding, volunteers and platform development advice. Their CEO Philip Sharpe is currently the Chairperson of our Board of Directors.

“It’s been so rewarding to watch Kinia scale with quality across the board – from its services to its governance. We believe that Kinia is a hugely important catalyst in Ireland’s education system, and the impact results are a testament to its success.”
