Building Digital Futures Together

We work with leaders, youth workers, teachers and volunteers; turning curiosity about tech into real skills and real confidence, that help young people not just keep up with change, but shape it. Less hype. More hands-on. Less fear. More future. Because every young person deserves the chance to grow, learn and build what comes next.

Professional Development

Kinia provides online, blended and in-person training, equipment and support to teachers, youth workers and organisations working with young people. Participants dive into 8 hours of hands-on learning, then take their skills for a spin in real youth settings through project-based activities. Every educator and young person involved gains an industry recognised certificate. Delivered in English and Irish, because the future belongs to everyone, our courses are available in: Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, Mobile Filmmaking, Podcasting, Green Technology, Hydrogen Education and Smart Energy.

Literacy Support

Reading Buddy Programme

Kinia’s Reading Buddy Programme supports primary school children in Ireland who struggle with reading in English or Irish. In some disadvantaged areas, up to one in three children face serious literacy difficulties, which can affect their future opportunities. Partnering with schools, corporate and community volunteers, we provide one-to-one reading support for children aged 8–12 through an 8-week programme, with two 30-minute sessions each week.

Numeracy Support

Maths-Whizz Programme

Kinia’s Maths-Whizz Programme supports pupils in DEIS primary schools across Ireland. It helps children who struggle with numeracy by giving them access to the personalised, gamified Maths-Whizz platform so they can learn at their own pace. Each year, a limited number of fully funded licences are available to participating schools. Teachers can keep a track of their students progress and we receive weekly progress data.
