Clár TechSpace is a creative technology network for educators to train and upskill, and support each other through Digital Creativity and STEAM.

From initial training, to support sessions, and equipment support, our team will guide you in determining what is best for your organisation. After training educators can avail of further support from Kinia Network, our online platform where educators can share, be inspired, and get classroom supports with our lesson plans and step-by-step guides. 

Training and Equipment Funding

Clár TechSpace has proudly been supported by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media since its inception. Grants are available for training and equipment for any of our trainings below. 

STEAM

From circuitry to soldering, our STEAM trainings will give you all of the skills you need to facilitate STEAM learning in your classroom or youth club. 

Digital Media

Whether you want to create a documentary, a first music video, a podcast, or use a green screen, these trainings will give you all of the skills you need to get creative with technology!

Who can do this training?

This programme is for educators in Gaelscoileanna, Gaelcholáistí, Gaeltacht schools, and Irish-language youth clubs. If you are not in one of these, but would like to do get support from us, please have a look at our other programmes here, or get in touch.

Creative TechFest 2021

Creative Tech Fest is an annual celebration open to young people from ages 8 to 18. Any youth worker, Staff member, volunteers or teacher that has taken part in training with Camara Ireland are eligible to support young people take part with their youth group or class.

Tech Féile 2022

The largest national celebration for young people with Irish to celebrate their creative technology projects! Kicking off on 4th February, and culminating in a live virtual awards ceremony on the 28th April, this year’s format will see each school and club entering one group project instead of individual student projects.
