Maonithe ag an Roinn Cúltúir, Oidhreachta agus na Gaeltachta

Kinia Clár & STEAM in the Travelling Community is a project that is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media and Science Foundation Ireland. It brings together the best of Ireland’s youth work and education sectors to develop an innovative program that empowers professional teachers, voluntary youth workers, and family support staff to embed Kinia Activities through their native language Gaeilge CANT whilst developing 21st Century skills in their work with young people. If you are working with young people in the Gaeltacht or with young people from the Travelling Community you may be eligible for sponsored training, equipment, and support from Kinia.

Foróige Kinia Hubs Proudly Sponsored by Google.Org

CS @ Foróige Kinia is a creative partnership between Foróige and Kinia, proudly sponsored by Google.org to bring Computer Science (CS) education training, activities, support, events, and professional qualifications to 350 youth workers and 3000 young people across the entire youth sector in Ireland. It brings together the best of youth, charity and corporate sectors to develop an innovative programme that empowers professional and voluntary Foróige youth workers to embed computer science and 21st Century skills in their work with young people. Kinia Hubs

CDYSB Kinia Hubs for volunteer youth clubs and groups in Dublin City Centre

CDYSB has partnered with Kinia to support youth projects and services within the Dublin area. Designed for educators and volunteers alike, participants explore the use of Digital Creativity to facilitate high-quality, 21st-century youth experiences. Based on the Dublin City Digital Youth Work Needs Analysis conducted in 2020. On joining the network, members may apply for support, attend key networking events, and receive training and consultation from Kinia. NYCI STEAM in Youth Work Project

NYCI STEAM in Youth Work Project funded by Science Foundation Ireland

This project supported youth workers to inspire young people to create, invent and make with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM). As well as receiving a day of hands-on Maker Training, youth workers will receive a grant for equipment that can be used to deliver technology-enhanced activities spanning electronics, robotics, and coding to music, arts, and crafts. Youth workers will also have access to follow-up support, resources, an online community of practice and much, much more. Inver in the Community

Inver in the Community initiatives have kindly supported the Kinia Programme (formerly TechSpace) to grow since it was founded in 2012, they have trained and supported youth services such as Foróige, Youth Work Ireland, and KDYS near their local service stations across Ireland to set up and develop a resourced Kinia Hub.
