Incorporating Smart Energy into your learning environment will allow learners to develop critical thinking skills, express ideas and creativity, and engage with content within a real world context.
Kinia training is available online, blended or in person, and is for teachers in the primary and secondary levels, educators working in the non-formal youth sector and those working in organisations that facilitate youth development.
The Smart Energy module covers:

Knowledge Building: Basics of energy, electricity and reewable concepts

Development Activities to support understanding of concepts. Activities include design solar powered traffic lights, art spinning maching and exploring switches

All Educator’s that activate their skills, will recieve a Kinia Credential. This will allow them to award digital badges to young people, and gives young people the opportunity to build their personal portfolio of skills and competencies in their own unique digital wallet, a cv for their future.
